The Prayer of the Wary, But Hopeful Nonetheless

If I fall, may it not be for a moment of light,
For my heart seeks more than a fleeting vision but a reality,
And should I go, I want to return to something greater than memory.

I have to keep praying this just to keep my emotions in check. Luckily, I'm not so easily swayed. I have to make more prayers of a similar nature.
